It does midi to wave conversion as it says. It also does multiple midi files conversion in one job (sort of batch). Not many options though, so it is just the tool if you want to convert midi to wave directly. |

I have only converted one piece of music so far - my wife is a music teacher in a secondary school and is doing theme songs of TV shows - she has downloaded two midi files and wanted the students to be able to hear the pieces - Finale 2006 was successful with one; the other had too much distortion (which was not there on playing the midi file, only on the Finale conversion). The other midi to wave programs I looked at relied on the soundcard and produced empty wave files each time, even though I made changes to the card setup. Your program was the only successful one (for my setup). |
